Logan Voegtly

Since 2010, I have worked in the field of bioinformatics and DNA sequencing, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. I previously served as a bioinformatics researcher as a government contractor for the DoD, where he performed extensive work with viral genomics including pathogen discovery. My experience spans the entire bioinformatics stack, from hardware and software setup to pipeline development, result interpretation, and communicating findings. I have co-authored papers in Frontiers in Microbiology, Viruses, and Nature Communications.
